Had to take the skin off. (It was at this point the ham reverted back to "Ham." Couldn't skin Raymond, now, could I?)
Had to tease the dog with the skin.
Next came the trimming of the fat. Literally.
The paper-thin slicing.
Ready for carving. (I had to watch a video...)
And that's the end of that adventure. The ham missed the party, but has lots of dates in the future- most of it will be sliced and frozen, and the ham bone will go into the stock pot. There have been a few requests for split-pea soup from Queen's Mom. Happy Christmas! My cooking is OH-vah!!

Oh boy! Ham is coming to Queen's Mom. ESD and I are starting to drool. Yum, can taste it already.
